Does PayQare replace my payroll software?

No. PayQare is an analysis tool, not a payroll system. It uses your existing data (payslips, Excel exports) to analyze salary equity and help with recruitment decisions. It does not process payments, tax calculations, or payroll runs.

Is my salary data shared with other companies?

Never. Each company has a completely isolated data space using Row Level Security. Your salary data is never shared, sold, or used for cross-company benchmarks without your explicit consent.

How are pay inequities calculated?

PayQare uses the compa-ratio: each employee's total compensation (base salary plus benefits) is divided by the median of their position group. A compa-ratio of 100% means the employee is at the median. A deviation over 15% triggers an orange alert, and over 25% triggers a red alert.

What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?

Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation. You receive notifications at regular intervals (day 1, 30, 60, 75, 83, 88, and 90) before permanent deletion. You can reactivate at any time during this period.

Does the CV analysis work with LinkedIn profiles?

Yes. Export the LinkedIn profile as a PDF, then upload it to the CV Analysis tool. The AI extracts the same information as a traditional CV: name, experience, education, skills, and languages.

Does PayQare offer industry benchmarks?

Not yet. The current version focuses on internal equity (comparing employees within your company). Industry salary benchmarks are planned for a future release.

Which regulations does PayQare align with?

PayQare's methodology is aligned with the EU Pay Transparency Directive (2023/970), the UK Equality Act 2010, US state-level pay transparency laws (including California, New York, Colorado, and Washington), and the Swiss Federal Act on Gender Equality (GlG).

How many users can I invite?

The Starter plan includes 1 user. Growth includes up to 5 users with role management (owner, admin, manager, viewer). Enterprise offers unlimited users.
